Created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the America's Cup in 2001, the Cowes America's Cup Jubilee Jacket celebrates one of the most significant events in sailing history.

Made in England, this special-edition Henri-Lloyd jacket features a PU-coated nylon outer shell and polyester lining, combining practical marine protection with a distinctive commemorative design. The 2001 Freo America’s Cup Jubilee Jacket Story

Created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the America's Cup, the 2001 Henri-Lloyd Jubilee jackets were produced for one of the most significant celebrations in sailing history.

Held in Cowes from 16–25 August 2001 and organised by the Royal Yacht Squadron and New York Yacht Club, the Jubilee brought together over 200 historic and modern racing yachts. Among them were the legendary J-Class yachts Endeavour, Velsheda and Shamrock V, alongside 12 Metres, classic yachts and modern America's Cup racers.

The centrepiece of the celebrations was the Jubilee Race on 22 August, retracing the original 1851 course around the Isle of Wight, exactly 150 years after the race that gave the America's Cup its name. Henri-Lloyd produced jackets for event officials, race organisers, yacht crews and guests, alongside limited-edition commemorative pieces marking the historic occasion. A rare piece of Henri-Lloyd's sailing heritage, celebrating 150 years of the world's oldest international sporting trophy.
