A classic sailing silhouette with a connection to round-the-world racing. This navy Jib jacket carries the embroidered emblem of the 1993–94 Whitbread Round the World Race, capturing a defining era in Henri-Lloyd’s sailing heritage.

Contrasting red collar lining brings colour to its understated design. Raglan sleeves allow ease of movement, while a full-length front zip, ribbed cuffs and ribbed hem give the jacket its characteristic blouson shape. Lower welt pockets and embroidered Henri-Lloyd branding complete the details.

Purposeful, uncomplicated and rooted in life on the water, the Jib brings enduring sailing style ashore.

The 1993 Whitbread Jib Jacket Story

The 1993–94 edition was a turning point in offshore racing, introducing the purpose-built Whitbread 60 class alongside the larger Maxi yachts for the first time.

Fifteen teams departed Southampton on 25 September 1993, racing around the world via South America, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The overall victory went to New Zealand Endeavour, skippered by Grant Dalton, while Yamaha, skippered by Ross Field, won the Whitbread 60 class.
