The 1998 Melges Aston Jacket celebrates the inaugural Melges 24 World Championship, reflecting Henri-Lloyd's longstanding connection to competitive sailing and the development of high-performance one-design racing.

Hosted by the Royal Torbay Yacht Club in Torquay, England, the 1998 championship brought together international competitors racing aboard the Melges 24, a lightweight, high-performance yacht developed in the early 1990s.
