Introduced in 2010, the Consort Shore was a lifestyle adaptation of Henri-Lloyd's iconic Consort jacket, first developed in 1965 by co-founder Henri Strzelecki.

Originally engineered for sailors and explorers, the Consort was a pioneering piece of waterproof outerwear, constructed from lightweight Bri-Nylon with innovative taped seams and a distinctive red quilted lining. Famously worn by Sir Francis Chichester and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston during their historic solo circumnavigations, the jacket became a symbol of Henri-Lloyd's pioneering sailing heritage.

The Consort Shore reinterpreted this original design for everyday wear, retaining its recognisable silhouette while introducing a wax-coated outer fabric for a more traditional, lifestyle-focused finish.

A contemporary interpretation of a sailing icon, bringing the character and heritage of the original Consort beyond the water.
