The 1998 Ferrari Club Consort RWR Jacket Story

First introduced in 1987 by Italian designer Olmes Carretti, the Henri-Lloyd Consort RWR drew inspiration from the Whitbread Round the World Race, translating the bold colours, technical detailing and pioneering spirit of offshore racing into everyday style.

The jacket found particular success in Italy, where it was embraced by the Paninaro youth movement of the 1980s. Its distinctive silhouette, contrasting colours and signature corduroy collar became symbols of Italian street culture, establishing the Consort RWR as an icon far beyond the sailing world.

This exclusive 1990s edition was produced for Ferrari Club, bringing together Henri-Lloyd's sailing heritage and its connection to Italian style. Made in England, the jacket carries Ferrari Club insignia alongside the iconic Round the World Race sleeve embroidery.
