Oliver Heer

Oliver Heer is a professional offshore sailor known for his resilience and expertise in competitive solo and team racing. After transitioning from a corporate career, he joined Alex Thomson Racing in 2018 and has since taken on some of the world's toughest ocean races. As a dedicated competitor in the IMOCA 60 class, Oliver embodies the spirit of endurance, innovation, and performance—values that align perfectly with Henri-Lloyd’s commitment to technical excellence in sailing apparel.

Key Achievements:

Vendée Globe 2024-2025 – Completed the solo, non-stop, round-the-world race in 99 days, finishing 29th out of 40 participants.

Transat New York Vendée 2024 – Secured 24th place, completing the transatlantic race in 15 days.

Route du Rhum 2022 – Finished 32nd out of 38 in this grueling solo transatlantic challenge.

Rolex Fastnet Race 2023 – Achieved 10th place in the IMOCA 60 class alongside Alex Thomson.

Transat Jacques Vabre 2023 – Competed with co-skipper David Ledroit but retired due to rigging issues.
