JOG is a yacht club with a difference. Since 1950, JOG has been focused on making coastal and offshore racing accessible to small boat owners by keeping its entry fees modest. Whilst taking its racing seriously, JOG values sportsmanship and community above all else.

JOG has also established a programme called ‘Generation JOG’, which encourages newcomers (including younger and female sailors) into the sport. The Generation JOG programme has driven female participation, with an average of 35% female crew members regularly taking part, significantly higher than the average for offshore events.

Over 1300 different crew members competed in the JOG 2024 race season, and most significantly of all, 25% of those crew were under 30 years of age.

Henri-Lloyd is the proud technical clothing partner to JOG for another season in 2025. All JOG members receive a 15% voucher code to use on any for sailing and outdoor activities.

Henri-Lloyd also provides prizes to Generation JOG sailors in recognition of race wins or other notable milestones, sponsoring one weekend race over the season and suppling vouchers throughout the year for events and for members to buy Henri-Lloyd technical clothing.
