Monty Halls is a broadcaster, speaker, naturalist, former Royal Marine, marine biologist, travel writer and leadership specialist. He is perhaps best known for his three hugely popular BBC series ‘Great Escapes’.
At Dartmouth’s Royal Regatta Sailing Week in 2024, Monty launched The Leaderbox Blue project, a scheme which enables anyone to get actively engaged in a marine conservation project.
Individuals or groups can apply to take part in the research, via Monty Hall’s official website. If accepted, a Leaderbox Blue kit will be sent out which contains everything needed for projects which cover the following key areas: beach cleans, habitat restoration, biodiversity surveys and awareness campaigns.
Henri-Lloyd is actively supporting Monty’s Leaderbox Blue scheme from its store in Dartmouth by encouraging anyone with an idea for a marine conservation project to apply for the Leaderbox Blue in-store.
