The original Consort jacket underwent a remarkable transformation at the hands of Olmes Carretti, who introduced numerous significant modifications while preserving the essence of the design. These updates included a deeper raglan armhole for enhanced mobility, a corduroy trim on the collar for added comfort, a practical throat tab, redesigned pockets for improved functionality, and most notably, Carretti's innovative use of bold and unconventional colour combinations.

To further distinguish the jackets, Carretti added the “Round The World Race” branding on the sleeve, a design detail that made these jackets easily recognisable among the Paninaro subculture.
