THE RESOLUTE EXPEDITION

From June to October 2023, Resolute Expedition will start the first voyage of of an 11-year project in critical oceanography to help scientists gauge the condition of our oceans, where citizen scientists retrace the endeavours of early explorers across 10,000 nautical miles of polar exploration

  • THE PRIZE
    The winner will join Leg Five, a 10-day voyage from Nuuk to Upernavik, along the west coast of Greenland via Disko Bay. The team will sail onboard Europe’s largest wooden Schooner, SV Linden to experience, document, discover and explore this breathtakingly beautiful part of the world with Resolute Expedition and her team.
  • THE DATES
    The competition winner will complete a training and selection process between the 14th – 16st July, before joining the Ocean Warrior Resolute Expedition team for the leg on 10th – 21st September.
  • IMPORTANT POINTS
    Competition closing date - Midnight June 30th 2023. This is an expedition and not an adventure holiday. No previous sailing experience is required as full training will be given. You have to be over 18 years of age. All dates accommodate a contingency and are subject to weather and progress - updates will be given 3 weeks before and 1 week before embarkation.
